The Medical Cardiology Department is a comprehensive service, accredited to perform invasive coronary procedures as well as diagnostic and ablative electrophysiological studies (meeting B2 and E criteria).
The department works in close collaboration with the Cardiac Surgery Department at CHU Saint-Pierre, meeting B3 criteria.
Our medical team provides a 24/7 on-call service, ensuring continuous care day and night throughout the year.
Close coordination between the ambulance service, the Emergency Department, the Coronary Care Unit, and the Interventional Cardiology Unit minimises delay, which is essential for delivering optimal patient care. The proximity of the Coronary Care Unit and the Interventional Cardiology Unit further enhances this care pathway.
