Professor Nicolas Dauby is a co-lecturer on the Infectious Diseases course for third-year medical students at ULB. Professor Charlotte Martin and Nicolas Dauby are co-lecturers on the Medical Virology course for third-year medical students at ULB.
Dr Déborah Konopnicki is a clinical supervisor for postgraduate training specialising in Internal Medicine at ULB and UZ-VUB.

Dr Agnès Libois is a clinical supervisor for the postgraduate programme in General Practice (ULB).

Each year, members of the department supervise several final Master’s theses in Medicine and specialisations in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine.

Research
The department hosts a clinical research unit capable of conducting both outpatient and inpatient clinical trials, in the areas of HIV therapy, antiviral treatments and antibiotic treatments, and vaccines.
The department collaborates with several national and international infectious disease surveillance networks.
In recent years, it has also developed research programmes in vaccination, with a particular focus on people living with HIV.
